Abstract

Sakti Village is one of seven villages designated as Tourism Designated Areas in Nusa Penida. The entry of tourism in Sakti Village certainly requires facilities and infrastructure to support this activity. This study aims to identify the development of tourism destinations in Sakti Village, Nusa Penida, identify and analyze land use changes due to tourism activities in Sakti Village and analyze the impact of tourism on the socio-economic conditions of the local community. The benefits of this research are so that the community knows the tourism potential in the village, and for the government to make plans to further develop tourism in Sakti Village. The research method uses mixed methods with data collection techniques using field observations and interviews and using data analysis techniques with descriptive and overlay analysis. The results of the study are 1) there has been a development of tourism in terms of attractions, amenities, and accessibility. For DTW, Crystal Bay and Penida Bay beaches are more developed than Gamat Bay, the existing facilities in Sakti Village are also sufficient to accommodate visiting tourists, and access to Sakti Village, especially the road to Gamat Bay, is not adequate. 2) the dominant land use changes, namely agricultural and livestock type land into settlements and tourism covering an area of 25.12 hectares. 3) the impact of tourism on the social economy, many people have switched professions to the tourism sector, the income earned has also increased by 1.375%, and people who work in the tourism sector have not participated in community organizations in Sakti Village
