IDENTIFIKASI POLA PEMANFAATAN LAHAN TEPIAN SUNGAI AYUNG,BALI

Abstract

The utilization of the Ayung River environment is currently widely used to support the potential for tourism development in the riverbank area. There are concerns related to the utilization of the river environment, especially the riverbank as a supporter of tourism activities, which will have an impact on the sustainability of the river environment. It is necessary to identify the utilization to determine further actions in an effort to balance the utilization of the river. The research was conducted by conducting observations to determine the existing land use. This research was conducted in the Ayung River area, which borders Kedewatan and Bongkasa Pertiwi villages. The method used in this research is qualitative method with naturalistic approach. This research aims to find out how the pattern of land use, especially on the banks of the Ayung River in existence, including the problems that exist in the research area. Based on the classification model, the existing land use on the Ayung River bank is grouped into three categories, namely land use to fulfill ecological functions, socio-cultural functions, and economic functions. Utilization in terms of tourism/economy has been used as a location to support tourism activities and there have been several tourism activities such as rafting, as well as the construction of tourist accommodations. Utilization from the socio-cultural side on the banks of the ayung river can be seen from the many religious buildings that still exist.
