Abstract

Performance problems can be seen from the inability of employees to carry out all activity plans that have been determined. One of the factors that can affect employee performance is organizational commitment, individual characteristics and work ethic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational commitment, individual characteristics and work ethic on employee performance both partially and simultaneously. This research was conducted at Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kota Denpasar with a population of 105 employees. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, literature and questionnaires. While the data analysis techniques are validity, reliability, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, multiple correlation, t test (t test), determination, and f test (f test). The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of organizational commitment on employee performance as seen from the t1-count was 4.883 while the t-table was 1.658. There is a positive and significant effect of individual characteristics on employee performance as seen from the t2-count is 3.538, while the t-table is 1.658. There is a positive and significant effect of work ethic on employee performance as seen from the t3-count is 4.191 while the t-table is 1.658. There is a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment, individual characteristics, work ethic on employee performance.70
