Abstract

Human resources or labor are important assets owned by a company. This creates special treatment in workforce management because basically the workforce can influence the company's existence in the future. Good human resource management will be able to create an optimal working atmosphere in order to realize workforce productivity in the company. This research aims to determine the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance, the influence of job satisfaction on organizational commitment, the influence of organizational commitment on employee performance, and the role of organizational commitment as a mediating variable in the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance.This research used a saturated sampling method with a sample size of 50 people. The analysis technique used is path analysis and Sobel test to determine the role of mediating variables. The research data collection method uses a questionnaire method which is assessed using a Likert scale.The results of this research are that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment mediates the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance. Based on the research results, suggestions can be made for the company to review the salary levels given to employees and create events that can increase the internal sense of family for employees.
