JEJAK SEJARAH DAN HEGEMONI RUANG TERBENTUKNYA PERMUKIMAN TRADISIONAL DI DESA ADAT TENGANAN DAUH TUKAD, BALI
Abstract
This research aims to explore and discover how traces of history and hegemony of power are behind the formation of residential spatial arrangements in the Tenganan Dauh Tukad Traditional Village, Karangasem, Bali. The research is exploratory in nature using an interpretative paradigm as a research approach. This is useful for uncovering the meaning and reality of the research subject's natural location and then interpreting it based on the researcher's subjective understanding. Through the application of qualitative research methodology with inductive data analysis, data collection was carried out by observation and in-depth interviews. Determination of the research sample was carried out by purposive sampling of traditional leaders and various parties who were deemed to understand the contextual and research location. The results of this research found that the residential spatial structure in the Tenganan Dauh Tukad Traditional Village was formed as a result of cultural acculturation between the Bali Mula, Bali Aga and Bali Majapahit cultures which caused changes in the structure and spatial arrangement of the settlement based on the hegemony of power at that time.
