MENENTUKAN HARI BAIK DALAM MEMBANGUN RUMAH STUDI KASUS PEMBANGUNAN BALE DAJA

Abstract

Houses for Balinese people are a form of Hindu culture. The community still uses Hindu culture as a guideline in building houses. One type of traditional house whose implementation is based on auspicious days according to the Balinese calendar or wariga calculations contained in ancestral palm leaves. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using the theory of literature review. This phenomenon will be explained and studied based on auspicious days according to the palm leaves in the house construction process. From the results of the study, the construction of the Bale Daja house was obtained according to the calculation of auspicious days for Making Foundations & Temel Structures using Sapta Wara: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Using good Sanga Wara: Tulus or Dadi. Days & Wuku that need to be avoided are Lebur Awu, as well as wuku such as Sinta, Landep, Gumbreg, Medangkungan, Sungsang, Dunggulan, Pahang, Tambir, Bala, Wayang, Watunggunung—all are considered not good for building Wuku without a teacher, sasih without Tumpek, wulan without Sirah, Erangan, Kala, Dangu, Pasah, and Prawani Wulan is also not good.
