Analisis Kualitas Kredit dan Efisiensi Operasional terhadap Profitabilitas Bank Perkreditan Rakyat di Kabupaten Gianyar

Abstract

This research aims to test and provide empirical evidence of the magnitude of the influence of the quality of credit provided and the efficiency of company operations on profits or profitability with a study conducted on all BPRs in Gianyar Regency which is used as a population of 24 BPR units which have head offices in the Regency Gianyar. Seeing that the population is relatively small, a saturated sample is used by taking the entire population as a sample. Financial reports for 3 consecutive years, namely 2021 to 2022, which were published on the ojk.go.id website, are the main source of data in this research which are then processed using panel data regression analysis to provide answers to the proposed hypotheses. The test results provide evidence that credit quality and operational efficiency individually have a negative and significant effect on the profitability of Rural Banks in Gianyar Regency, while simultaneously providing evidence that these two variables have a significant influence on the profitability of Rural Banks in Gianyar Regency. It is recommended that Rural Banks in Gianyar Regency be able to improve credit quality by tightening the analysis of providing credit to debtors who are truly able to carry out their obligations for credit payments so that they can improve credit quality and reduce the non-performing loan ratio.
